Content and Copyright Policy

Summary: Upload only photos you have the right to use. If we confirm that an account has used someone's photo without permission, uploaded a minor or a public figure, or infringed anyone's rights, we remove the content and permanently terminate the account immediately. Reports and rights-holder notices are reviewed by hand within 72 hours.

Who you may upload

• Yourself.
• Adults who have agreed to have their photo used for this video, such as friends, family or coworkers.
• Your own pet, such as your dog or cat.

You may not upload:

• anyone under 18;
• public figures, such as celebrities, streamers, athletes, politicians or musicians, including the people in the original trend videos and anyone they resemble;
• anyone who has not agreed, including photos taken from social media, news or other websites;
• photos you do not have the right to use.

Before every generation you must confirm that these conditions are met. The generate button and our server both reject requests without this confirmation.

What the service can and cannot make

Every video is the same fixed Window Dance scene. You cannot enter a prompt, change the scene or the actions, or add speech, voices or text. The service cannot make anyone appear to say anything or place them in any other scene. Every video is AI-generated, fictional content and must not be presented as real footage.

Do not film real windows

The Window Dance looks like a clip secretly filmed through a neighbor's window. Ours are AI-generated. Never film real people through their windows or post real footage of people who did not agree: it can be illegal, and it is not allowed with anything made here. Keep the AI-generated label on when you post.

Zero tolerance: what happens when rules are broken

• Someone's photo used without consent, a public figure, impersonation, harassment or infringement: the videos and photos are deleted from our storage, the share links stop working, and the account is permanently terminated immediately, without a refund of credits.
• Minors or sexual content of real people: the same, and we report it to the authorities where required (for example, to NCMEC).
• Attempts to evade a ban with new accounts are blocked as well.
• Other breaches: content removed and a warning; a second breach leads to termination.

How to report a video

• Click Report this video on any shared video page, or
• email support@windowdance.com with the subject "Content report", the video link and a short description.

We review every report by hand within 72 hours and take content offline while we review serious reports. We keep the identity of the person reporting confidential.

Copyright and rights holders

The original trend videos, CapCut templates and their audio, and the names and marks of TikTok and CapCut belong to their rights holders. Window Dance AI is an independent tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by them. We do not use the original videos, templates or audio: every video is generated from scratch.

If you hold rights in any content used by the service, email support@windowdance.com with the subject "Copyright notice". Include:

1. the work you hold rights in;
2. the content or page concerned (links help);
3. your contact details and a statement that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for them.

We review each notice within 72 hours. Where a notice is valid, we remove or mute the content concerned and act on the accounts involved.

Our safeguards

• Consent confirmation before every generation, enforced on the server.
• One fixed scene: no prompts, no speech, no voice cloning.
• A free photo check before payment that blocks photos of minors and obvious celebrities.
• Each photo is turned into a reference image before it reaches the video model (an illustration for people), and our AI providers run their own safety checks.
• Users can delete their videos and photos at any time in My videos.
